Studio Explorations | 2004–2016
Between 2004 and 2016, I immersed myself in abstract painting and drawing, exploring the relationships between color, form, texture, and movement. Over 100 pieces were documented.
Working in oil, pastel, and mixed drawing media on canvas and paper, the process was driven by experimentation and discovery. Some compositions developed through spontaneous gestures, while others emerged through repeated layering, construction, and revision.
These works reflect an ongoing interest in how a painting develops through the act of making, where each decision creates new possibilities.
The works range in size from 22 × 30 inches to 96 × 48 inches.
